There is a sort of essay, that is mostly a journey through the Old Testament prophets with minor commentary linking and contrasting them. This grew out of a Christmas Eve service where I finally understood why Isaiah 9:6 begins with the word “For”. Isaiah 9:5 is implemented by the child that is born. Typically my poems and songs grow out of my essays but they are just summaries. So far in the essay, I heard two poems that turned into songs. If I hear more, I’ll let you know.
